OUR STAFF
Ronnie has served at FBC Marrero since June 2006. He initially served as our Minister of Evangelism & Outreach and was called as Pastor in June 2009. Ronnie and his wife Allison have been married since December 2007 and have three children. Ronnie graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a MDiv. in 2009 and a Ph.D. in 2025. Ronnie enjoys rooting for the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.

Arzel has been a member of our church for 30-plus years and served as our Children's Director from 2008 to 2020 and as our Worship Leader from 2020-2025. Currently she is serving as our Administrative Assistant and as a vocalist on our Worship team. Arzel and her husband Joed enjoy cooking and traveling to visit their grandchildren.

Micah Quave
MINISTER OF MUSIC
Micah has served as our Minister of Music since January 2026. Originally, he is from Denham Springs, Louisiana. Prior to FBC Marrero, Micah served as Music & Technology Director at FBC Bogalusa, Louisiana. He graduated from Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology in 2024. Micah is a bivocational minister and also works full-time for the National MS Society as Assistant Director of Endurance Events.
Dalton has served with our student ministry since May 2024. Dalton and his wife Frances were married in December 2025, and they are expecting their first child in October 2026! Dalton is a student at Leavell College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is working toward a Bachelor's Degree. In his spare time, Dalton enjoys baking and trying new recipes. He also has a hidden talent of playing ukulele.

Shawnda joined our staff in August of 2013 as our Administrative Assistant. She accepted an administrative assistant position at Marrero Middle School in 2019, but she still serves FBC Marrero as Financial Secretary. She and her husband Ted are the proud parents of two daughters.
